What's In The New NICO Portal

With students moving online in 2020, we took the opportunity to invent a clean, distraction-free, brain-friendly system for learning. Our English Fundamentals Course morphed into a pattern-forming sequence of lessons, H5P activities, and short tests with dynamic feedback. Our original portal provides extensions and adaptations for teachers, tutors, program directors and intervention professionals.

Educators use NICO's Comprehensive Assessment early in the year to help Students identify areas for improvement. 5 "Chapters" make up the courseware, with hundreds of lessons, activities and assessments. An H5P Library enables educators to send students specific material outside of the standard course progression. Educators using ZOOM or HANGOUTS enjoy NICO Portal's Live Classroom capabilities.
